As a volunteer you’ll give girls opportunities for fun, friendship, challenge and adventure!
3 hrs / week Flexible

As a Young Leader you'll develop skills in leadership, communication and team working – all of which make impressive additions to any CV.

You can also work towards the Girlguiding Young Leader qualification will also help you to contribute more to your local unit leadership team and become more confident in your role. 

We have a number of units seeking Young Leaders to support them on a weekly basis across Ossett.

Weekly meetings are approx. 60 - 90mins per week (term time) and there may be some follow up activities outside of the weekly meetings.

Accessibility will depend on the unit venue.

You will need to complete an e-learning on Safeguarding, which will be provided by Girlguiding.

There may be further opportunities available depending on skills and interests for example DofE, Queens Guide Award, Rangers and the Girlguiding Youth Panel.

Expenses

Units will confirm agreed expenses examples include costs for resources etc.
