Read Easy provides free, confidential one to one reading coaching to adults who struggle with reading. Our groups are changing the lives of individual adults across Wakefield by providing them with the help they need to learn to read and in turn open doors for them in all sorts of opportunities in life.

We need your help.

Are you a person with strong networking skills? If you love meeting people, are enthusiastic and a great listener we need to you to recruit and interview the best volunteers for our group.

We will provide you with all the training, guidance, support and resources needed to carry out this vital role.

We will need you to

Manage the recruitment process of the volunteers for our group, leading interviews with the coordinator or Team Leader.

Make sure volunteers feel supported, informed, valued and heard.

Ensue compliance with our Volunteer Policy and Equality and Diversity Policy.

Attend monthly management meetings.

Ideally you will have,

Experience of interviewing

Good communication skills

Reasonable confidence in using IT
