Read Easy Wakefield offers one to one coaching for adults who struggle to read. Our Management Team, Reading Coaches and other supporting roles are all covered by volunteers. We have a new group in Wakefield and we need your help to make a difference.

This is a great opportunity to get involved in what is a life changing experience for both our readers and our volunteers.

We need a Safe Guarding Champion. Perhaps you have experience in this field either through work or volunteering with other organizations? If so you would be ideal.

The role would include carrying out DBS checks on new Reading Coaches and ensuring Safe Practice and the following of our procedures are carried out at all times.

We will provide you with all the training, guidance, support and resources needed to carry out this vital role.

Adults who cannot read are disadvantaged in many ways. We aim to make a difference in Wakefield.
