Volunteer Drivers for young people

Can you help young people experiencing bereavement get to their support groups?
2 hrs / week Flexible

Do you enjoy driving? Would you like to support children and young people to get to their grief support groups? If this sounds like you we would love to chat to you

Our Bright Stars and peer support groups run in the school holidays and once a month on an evening or weekend. But the young people we support live all over the Wakefield District and many are without transport. We are recruiting volunteer drivers to drive children and young people to groups and take them home again.

You will need to have appropriate business insurance, a clean driving licence and the ability to make young people feel safe and supported

This role is vital to our bereavement support service
