Visitor Centre Volunteer - RSPB Fairburn Ings

You will be in the Visitor Centre/shop, talking to visitors about the reserve.

You will also help us to keep the shop full and presentable.

You need to be happy talking to people, to be welcomed with a smile, by a chatty and helpful member of the team. You will be in the Visitor Centre, Talking to visitors about the reserve, how they can support us and giving information about wildlife sightings and using the till. You will also help us to keep the shop full and presentable and keep the Visitor Centre clean and tidy.

We are looking for people who love nature as much as we do to join our team!! You will be full of enthusiasm. A high level of prior knowledge is not necessary, as we can train you in everything else you need for this role.

You need to be happy talking to people, eager to learn, and comfortable asking our visitors to support us. You will be representing the RSPB, so being polite, smart and presentable at all times is a must.

You will enjoy working as part of a team and have a positive and friendly disposition.


Travel expenses may be paid to and from the reserve
