Becoming a Trustee for SARAG

SARAG has an opportunity for new trustees to join our board.

This is a voluntary role and much of the board’s work is conducted online. The board holds monthly Teams/Zoom meetings and is responsible for agreeing on the strategy and overseeing the governance of the charity. In-person meetings are held at SARAG premises in Rotherham, usually every three months.

We are looking for individuals who bring energy, enthusiasm, and commitment to the role, and who will broaden the diversity of thinking on our board.

Previous governance experience would be welcome; however, we will provide a full induction and relevant training.

We are particularly interested to hear from people with experience in finance, marketing and social media or the wider charitable sector. Experience either of living with asbestos-related conditions, or as a user of the benefit system would also be welcomed.

If you would like to know more about SARAG and this position please contact us to arrange an initial conversation.
