Thursday Walking Volunteer

An opportunity for volunteers to join our walking group. The 'Wild Walkers' group runs each Thursday
Flexible hours From Thu 11th Jan 2024 Wakefield West view map

The walking group meets every Thursday from Thornes Park in Wakefield and we go out in our accessible minibus to variety of different locations, from canal paths to scenic moorland walks. The group is made up of disabled adults and you would be required to assist them. No experience necessary, all training is provided.

Volunteers are part of a quarterly rota so there is no commitment to every week and you have plenty of notice to plan around the group. If you are interested and would like to find out more please contact us by email at wakefield@opencountry.org.uk or call us on 07426 716677!
