Shopping/ Pick-up helper
Many of our guests struggle to feed themselves and/or are extremely isolated or suffer with addiction and what we do allows them the opportunity to share a hot meal with other members of the community in a safe and friendly environment and seek advice/support from our Support co-ordinator and other drop in services during sessions such as Turning point and local Police.
We also provide monitored access to food parcels and our clothing bank when we are open.
We are looking for help to do our Aldi food bank shopping and occasional order pick ups from Booker the same morning every week or every 2 weeks and ideally a Friday but we could consider Tuesday or Wednesday also.
After a few initial trips with our services manager this would then be a mostly autonomous role where we'd provide you with the shopping list and the money to be able to do/collect the shop and return to base to unload.
All round it should take between 1-2 hours of your time.
You would need to use your own car but mileage to and from the shops from our Hope Centre can be covered.
