Schools Workshop Volunteer
An extensive schools learning programme provides opportunities for pupils to connect and be inspired by the collections and sites we oversee. Our programme covers in-person visits to sites, outreach to schools, online delivery and loan box provision. Workshop delivery allows pupils to get close to many objects and historic sites in some cases even handling objects to support their learning and enquiry skills. Experiencing history where it happened!
We are looking for School Session Volunteers to support on site delivery. You will welcome groups to the site, provide information about objects used in the workshop, and help our Learning Officers to monitor the groups whilst on site.
