Kitchen helper
Many of our guests struggle to feed themselves and/or are extremely isolated or suffer with addiction and what we do allows them the opportunity to share a hot meal with other members of the community in a safe and friendly environment and seek advice/support from our Support co-ordinator and other drop in services during sessions such as Turning point and local Police.
We also provide monitored access to food parcels and our clothing bank.
Being a kitchen helper includes set up before we open then serving up the food/tea & coffee/pudding, washing up & clean up after.
As we are open to serve between 12 and 2 we will need volunteers to come in around 11:30 and stay till about 14:30 to ensure we can set up and set down after leaving the kitchen cleaned up.
