Assisting with orientation and visitor flow, kindly communicating ‘house rules’,

and answering any immediate questions to help visitors feel relaxed and keen

to explore. In addition, you will have the opportunity to cover tea relief in the

House, thus gaining experience of the different rooms and the role of a Room Guide.

• Providing a warm, friendly welcome to all visitors to the house as the public face of the place and the National Trust

• Ensuring a smooth flow of visitors into the house, adapting procedures and welcome information in line with visitor flow

• Learning about Nostell as a whole, and sharing its history with visitors

• Welcoming families by talking to children as well as adults
