Garden Volunteer

Volunteer Gardeners play an important role in the upkeep, development and protection of our gardens.
5 hrs / week Flexible

Helping the garden team with: tidying up, dead heading, weeding and caring for borders, looking after trees, shrubs and plants, propagating and nursery work, grass cutting, looking after garden machinery and equipment.

Helping out with the planned development of the garden by:

• planting trees and shrubs, establishing borders and other garden features, clearing and pruning overgrown areas.

Helping grow fruit and veg for the onsite cafe.

Becoming familiar with and then following the National Trust's Health and Safety Policy at all times.
