Would you like to join the adventure and support young people to enjoy scouting?
Flexible hours Flexible

We are 2nd Wakefield (crofton) scout group and the oldest scout group in the Wakefield district. We have three sections and enable young people from ages 6-14 1/2 to enjoy activities, learn new skills and make friends. We can’t do this without our adult volunteers who support the programme either on a regular or occasional basis. We do everything from arts and crafts and cooking on camp fires to narrowboat and camping trips. We are an inclusive group and would love to welcome you to join us.

We also welcome anyone interested in helping behind the scenes to get in touch!

A DBS check and some basic mandatory training is required for most volunteers, but we will support you to complete these.
