The Courtyard is the Visitor Welcome area at Nostell, comprising ticket office, shop, cafe and toilets.

The role is to be present in the courtyard during the day to proactively engage with visitors and provide site orientation and information on points of interest and daily activities

To chat with visitors at busy times when queues can build up at the cafe.

To familiarise yourself with the layout of the whole site and what's happening at Nostell in order to provide visitors with accurate information.

To help the staff with the aesthetics and presentation in the courtyard including decorations, seasonal displays and general cleanliness.

Being familiar with and following the National Trust's Health and Safety Policy and Values at all times.

There might be some other activities that are of interest to you, that we could use your help with.
