Cafe Assistant Volunteer at St Swithun's

This role would be suited to any person interested in working in a Café and community environment.
Flexible hours From Tue 4th Feb 2020

Previous experience is not necessary as full induction training will be provided. You will have good communication skills and be willing to work as part of a team. Volunteers need to be reliable, trust worthy and willing to take part in training where appropriate e.g. Basic Food Hygiene.

Tasks: Providing general assistance within the café, which may include serving refreshments, basic food preparation, taking peoples orders, keeping the café area clean and tidy, chatting to people using the café facility.

Skills development: This role will enable volunteers to develop their customer service skills, improve communication skills and gain a general understanding of how a community café works.

£3.50 daily for drinks and a meal from our cafe
